Each token’s global liquidity = real bids + asks resting within 2% of mid price, in USD, summed across the 25 major spot venues we pull live (Binance, Coinbase, OKX, Bybit, Kraken, HTX, Bitfinex, Gate, KuCoin, Bitget, MEXC, Crypto.com, Bitstamp, Bitmart, Gemini, BingX, WhiteBIT, XT, LBank, Poloniex, CoinEx, AscendEX, Bitrue, DigiFinex, Probit). These hold the large majority of real order-book depth; the long tail of tiny/wash-traded venues adds little, and each token shows exactly how many venues answered. How this is built (glass-box): open interest and 24h volume come live from CoinGecko's derivatives-exchange data (reported in BTC) and are marked to USD at the live BTC price, so the whole board revalues in real time. OI / Vol = open interest ÷ 24h volume (higher = positions held longer versus churned). Taker/maker fees are each venue's standard non-VIP tier (reference only). OwlScore is our own transparent 0–100 blend — 60% open-interest share + 40% volume share, normalised to the leader — not a black-box rating. Cached ~5 min. Not financial advice.
