The exact maths, glass-box
Owl Market Index = (Breadth + Momentum + Sentiment + Funding heat) / 4, all live:
• Breadth = the share of the top 100 coins that are UP over 24h (0–100).
• Momentum = the average 24h move of the top 100, mapped so -5% → 0, 0% → 50, +5% → 100.
• Sentiment = the live Fear & Greed reading (already 0–100).
• Funding heat = the BTC perpetual funding rate, mapped so -0.05% → 0, +0.01% (neutral) → 50, +0.15% → 100.
Phases: 0–25 Deep freeze · 25–45 Accumulation · 45–60 Neutral · 60–80 Risk-on · 80–100 Overheated. A weather gauge, not a prediction.
