How this is built (glass-box): volumes are pulled live from DeFiLlama's on-chain data and cached ~5 minutes — perpetual DEXes under "Perp DEX", spot AMMs under "Spot DEX". Dominance = a DEX's 24h volume ÷ the total across all tracked DEXes. Unlike centralised-exchange self-reported figures, DEX volume is measured directly on-chain, so it is inherently verifiable.
